Y Strainer

The Honeywell FY69P Cast Iron Y Strainer is a high-performance filtration solution used in commercial, industrial, and central water supply systems. It is specifically designed to remove solid contaminants such as rust, metal particles, sealing materials, and welding residues from the fluid flow, ensuring smooth and efficient system operation.

Constructed with a grey cast iron body (PN16 flanged design) and equipped with a stainless steel double sieve, this Y strainer provides excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and long service life. The large mesh surface area (~0.50 mm) allows high dirt holding capacity while maintaining low flow resistance due to its optimized internal design.

The strainer ensures protection of downstream equipment such as pumps, valves, meters, and regulators, reducing maintenance costs and preventing premature system failure. It also features a removable sieve and drain plug, allowing easy cleaning and maintenance without dismantling the system.

Designed for flexibility, it can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipelines (recommended with the blanking plug facing downward for best performance).
